Description

A view of the Martyrs' Pulpit of Exeter Cathedral, which is located in the nave. The main section of the pulpit is made from stone. This is supported by a cluster of small columns of alternating mediums. Each side of the base contains three small columns and alternate between marble and stone. The main portion of the pulpit contains scenes from the martyrdom of St. Alban and Bishop Pattison. The scenes are enclosed by arches with a trefoil head. The pulpit is roped off by stanchions.
