Description

A view of the tomb of Dr. Stephen Beckwith in York Minster. The repose effigy lays its proper left hand across its chest. Its proper right arm lays at its side. Behind the effigy, architectural elements frame the tomb. These elements include a double arcade with a trefoil head. The arches are surmounted by a cinquefoil, which is enclosed by a gable. On either side of the gable is a quatrefoil.
