Description

A detailed view of the choir stalls at York Minster. Made out of wood, the detail shown contains an arcade of decorative arches. Each arch contains four cusps. Located at the end of each cusp is a finial. Above the arcade are ornately designed tracery, portions of which form a decorative gable, which surmounts every two arches of the arcade.
