Description

A detailed view of a corbel at York Minster. The top portion of the corbel forms an octagon. At each of the octagon's corners, floriated sculptural elements project slightly outward. The stems of the design flow downward towards the tapered end of the corbel. A human figure acts as a boss (a knob/protrusion) at the end of the corbel.
