An exterior view of the oriel windown at John of Gaunt's Palace in Lincoln, England. The windows are encased by pointed arches. The stone area separating the windows contains baldachins, the statues of which do not appear. The small frieze below the windows consists of florets. The top of the window is surmounted by pinnacles.
