A view of Chester Cathedral's pulpit. Built of stone, the free-standing pulpit is supported by four columns. The main area of the pulpit takes the shape of a quatrefoil. Each outward-facing side contains a scene from the life of Jesus framed by an archway. An eagle with its wings spread acts as the bookstand.
