Description

A design for a bank. The bank follows a classical design of symmetry. There are four bays of windows, one per story that aligns with each other. The portico has Ionic colossal columns that stretch two stories. The portico is surmounted with a triangular pediment with sculptures located at each point. The pediment contains a carved relief. The frieze area below the pediment reads: Metropolitan Bank. At the corner of the central bay, two statues surmount the corners of the roof.
