A view of the altar of St. James the Greater. St. James is situated in a niche. Foliated engaged columns frame the niche. A segmental pediment includes a relief portrait of God surrounded by angels. Surmounting the pediment are sphinx-like creatures located at each end of the arch. A standing putti figure is positioned above the sphinx figure. At center of the arch is another standing putti figure.
