Description

An aerial view of Pedrocchi Café. The H-shaped building has two loggias on the north and south sides of the facade. These loggias have Doric columns that are surmounted with a frieze of wreaths and weapons. The roof of the loggia creates an open-air balcony that is accessed from the second story. The rails of the balcony are wrought iron. The rails mimic the crossing of the weapons in the frieze and contain griffin figures at each corner. The building connecting the two wings has Corinthian columns with two stories of windows in a sequential pattern. People mill about in the court yard.
