A frontal view of the Christ Church Gateway of Canterbury Cathedral as seen from Mercery Lane. A mixture of several styles, Norman being the most prevalent, the gate consists of two doorways, one small and one large. The gate is in poor condition. The Christ Figure, who should occupy the central niche, is missing. Heraldic imagery adorns the facade.
