Description

An exterior view of the Certosa di Pavia's main facade as viewed looking towards the south east. Visible is the contrasting materials used for the building. The exterior side of the nave is made of brick, while the main entrance's facade is made of stone. The facade is ornately decorated with sculptures and arches. Surmounting the main entrance is a circular window, which is enclosed by two engaged columns and a triangular pediment. The cupola is visible in the background.
