Description

An interior view of the Salle de garde (guardroom) at the Palace of the Dukes and Estates of Burgundy. Towards the back of the room lies a fireplace in the Flamboyant Gothic style. The tombs of Philip the Bold and John the Fearless with Anne of Bavaria occupy the center of the room, while altarpieces line the wall to the left of the tombs. Paintings hang above the altarpieces. To the right of the tombs, portrait busts on pedestals occupy the wall space between the windows.
