There are three sections of the print. In the middle section there is a village on fire, surrounded by soldiers and tanks situated on hills. Below the image is text and a small vignette of allied flags, canons, and a drum. On the facing left is a uniformed soldier, identified as French, with a blue trenchcoat, red pants, red hat, black boots. On the facing right is another soldier, identified as American, wearing an olive colored uniform and a gray helmet. Both soldiers are holding guns.
