Description
Inscriptions/Signature

In the center of the image is a female figure, identified as a personification of France, holding the French flag. In front of the flag there are two soldiers, clasping hands. On the facing left the soldier is identified as Théophile Malo, and he wears a uniform with tan pants, a red coat with white sashes across the front and a tall black hat. On the facing right is a soldier identified as Collignon who wears red pants, a gray coat and black details. Each soldier holds a long rifle in the outer hands. In the back ground there are rolling hills and lines of soldiers. On the facing left side are the words "Au D'Auvergne" and on the facing right side is "Collignon"

The series title "La Grande Guerre" is printed at the top of the page and the image title and descriptive text are printed at the bottom of the page.
