Description

A crowd of men stands in a cemetery around a wreath of blue and red flowers tied with a black sash that reads "A PATRIE" and "DEROULEDE" and there is a French flag next to the wreath. Some of the men are in uniform and on the facing right side is a man wearing a blue uniform facing away from the viewer and wearing an armband with a red cross on it. On the facing right side there is a large staff of red, balck and white chevrons and at the top there is a circle with the German Imperial Eagle on it and the word "DEUTSCHES

The series title "La Grande Guerre" is printed at the top of the page and the image title and descriptive text are printed at the bottom of the page.
