Description
Inscriptions/Signature

Four soldiers, identified as Belgian, standing in the foreground raise glasses of red wine. Their uniforms are light gray pants with yellow or red stripes and a dark gray coat with a scarf. Their hats are black and yellow. On the facing left side is a woman dressed in a long red skirt and white apron with a blue shawl. She is holding a tray with glasses and a jug and in front of her is a blue chicken. The soldier on the far facing right is holding a saber in his proper right hand. In the background are more soldiers and a city scape. The trees have no leaves, indicating that it is likely winter.

The series title "La Grande Guerre" is printed at the top of the page and the image title and descriptive text are printed at the bottom of the page.
