Description

In the foreground center and facing right side, uniformed soldiers wave to incoming troops in the background. In the facing left foreground are two dead soldiers, identified as German, in shadow, lying on the ground and partially underneath an artillery structure. In the background facing left are soldiers, identified as English soldiers in yellow uniforms, on horseback.

The series title "La Grande Guerre" is printed at the top of the page and the image title and descriptive text are printed at the bottom of the page.
