In the foreground there are ten people dressed in clothing from various periods in time and they are facing away from the viewer. In the center of the print is a uniformed man riding a rearing horse. To his proper left is a parade of uniformed soldiers carrying French flags. The border is brownish green with leaves, and wrapped with sashes in red/white/blue and witha red/white/blue bow at the bottom.
