In the center image is a soldier wearing a blue uniform. In his proper right hand he holds a gun with a bayonet on the end of it. In his proper left hand he holds the hand of the woman opposite him and he is bent down to kiss her hand. The woman, who is on the facing left of the image is wearing a full-skirted dress with several patterns. The bodice is red and white. In her proper left hand she holds a rose. Surrounding the image is a pattern of yellow and red roses and drama masks. There is the title and additional text at the bottom of the print. On the back of the print there is a program for a theatrical event.
