The colophon designates the five themes of the etchings that follow: “Preservation of Art,” “The Submarine,” “The Zeppelin,” “Belgium,” and “Serbia?,” with a short propagandistic (but pointed) text following each theme, at the bottom of the image is a text designating that the artist printed 25 sets of this edition and that this is number 4. A oval watermark with the word ROMA underneath an image of Romulus and Remus suckling the she-wolf is located in the lower left-hand corner.
