Round box and lid carved from wood and covered on the inside and outside with leather. The body of the box is round and carved with concentric rows of raised lines. The sides and interior are covered in red dyed leather and the bottom of the box is covered in brown leather. The leather on the sides is stamped with a braidlike pattern. The lid is also round and covered with leather. The lid has concentric raised rings and there is a rounded knob in the center of the lid that has a brass colored circle on the top. The leather is dyed brown and stamped with rows of a braidlike pattern on the outer rings and on the inside ring it is stamped with rows of half circles and with four-petaled flowers. The metal is incised with very short lines around the edge and with a starburst pattern in the center.
