Square ceramic tile that is made from a light reddish brown ceramic and is glazed on one side with a medium blue glaze. The glaze is carved away in a low relief pattern of small squares and sharp angular lines. The edges of the tile are roughly carved.

The design pattern in the glaze is identified as Kufic calligraphy and the clay as local Moroccan clay.
