Small rectangular box, likely made from wood, that is covered on all sides with dark brown leather decorated with embossing and incising. The lid is attached to the box with leather and there is a small leather tab on the lid that inserts through a flat strip of leather on the front. There is a relief pattern on the top of the box with two raised bands on the short sides and in the center there are concentric diamond shapes with slightly curved sides. The leather on the top of the box is embossed with circles and tiny diagonal lines to create patterns of bands and triangles. The sides of the box are incised or embossed with thin lines arranged into a diamond pattern. The bottom has incised lines that divide the space into quadrants and triangles.
