Around the months there is a dark green field with vine patterns and in between the rows there are blocks with a four pointed design and circular shapes in the corners. The outside border has a white field with a repeating pattern of maroon half circles and oval shapes in blue, yellow, orange, and maroon. Near the top of the calendar the word NITEX is printed above 1977 and closer to the bottom of the calendar is the year 1977 printed on a green field. The months of the calendar are written in French.
