Description

Hat made from woven plant fiber and decorated with strips of leather. The crown of the hat is domed and the brim is wide, upturned and wavy. On the underside are thin strips of brown leather for tying under the chin. The edge of the brim is timed with a thin strip of brown leather. The top is decorated with brown strips of leather radiating down from the top and with lighter tan strips of paper with pinked edges appliqued on top. Two of the strips have triangular elements at the bottom with similar applique. At the top of the crown is a brown circle of leather with a square of paper in the center and a small brown leather loop at the top.
