Description

Decorative plate or shallow bowl made from a dried gourd. The plate is slightly convex and the convex side is carved in low relief and painted. The plate is carved with a large white bird, identified as a possible dove, in the center, with a black branch covered in green leaves in its feet. Between the bird's wings is a red flower with a white center. At the top of the plate there is a hole drilled through and a piece of white plastic string is looped through it for hanging on the wall as decoration.
