Description

Decorative plate or shallow bowl made from a dried gourd. The plate is slightly convex and the convex side is carved in low relief and painted. The plate is carved with two birds facing each other, one painted red and the other blue. They are sitting on black branches with green leaves, and above them is a black branch with green leaves and a red flower with white center above their heads. There is a pink border around the edge. At the top of the plate there is a hole drilled through and a piece of white plastic string is looped through it for hanging on a wall as decoration
