A ceramic sculpture in the shape of a basketball and covered in encaustic. The outlines of the basketball are visible, as well as the logo "Wilson" on the sides. The color is dark yellow and the surface is decorated with lines made up of small circles pressed into the surface, then rubbed with greenish brown pigment. Near the bottom are rows of wavy lines. Extending from the top wavy line is a row of short, tulip shaped flowers alternating with very long stems that reach to the top third of the ball and are topped with clusters of four spherical, thistle shaped flowers.
