The Masters of Allegory project began in the Fall of 1994. It was
completed in the Fall of 1996. The idea of a collaborative print portfolio
came about merely as a means to examine the process and outcome of
team collaboration. Two years later we learn that the process of
collaboration is complex and exhaustive for some, carefree and untiring
for others. The notion of matching twin creative psyche and forfeiting
the ego of self expression is worthy of exploration. The idea of creative
collaboration is not new, but the combination of two artists engaged in a
creative act always gives breath to a new voice.
