Description
Inscriptions/Signature

A man with a red nose in a very heavy, tan overcoat and military cap (Identified as Crown Prince Alexander I of Yugoslavia) graps a walking stick as he trudges through the snow. In the middle ground behind him, a line of troops depicted in silhouette cross a bridge over a turbulent river. Prince Alexander led the Serbian Army through the fall and winter of 1915, when it was beset on all sides by German, Austro-Hungarian, and Bulgarian forces.
