Description

Exterior. A view of the Detroit Museum of Art, a turreted, rugged sandstone building done in Richardsonian Romanesque style. The colonnade has five round arches supported on red granite shaftsthis entrance is flanked by two conical-topped side towers with turrets and round arched windows. In the foreground a street stretches around two sides of the building, telephone poles on the left side.
