Description

Left of center is a red roofed wagon peopled by a driver, his companion, and two passengers. A team of six horses pulls the wagon. They appear to have paused after completing a circuit [identified as Farnsworth’s Loop, Santa Catalina Island] around a promontory that overlooks hills, which extend into the sea defining the horizon. Along the dirt path traversed by the wagon are ruts indicating journeys made by earlier travelers.
