Description

A white-walled church [identified as The Old Mission Chapel at Los Angeles] sits across the street from a well-tended park defined by green grass, paved walkways, benches, and lush tropical palm trees topped by leafy fronds. Positioned with his back to the viewer, a man in a bowler hat stands in front of the fence. He appears to be looking at the chapel. To the left of the church is a horse drawn wagon. Overlooking the chapel and its neighboring buildings are what appears to be a red brick church and additional structures on the promontory beyond.
