Description

Interior of large working room filled with wooden crates and metal hanging chutes. Immediately positioned in the foreground on a wooden shelf sit crates filled to the brim emblazoned with text stating: “L.L. LYON & SONS./ FRUIT GROWERS/ PACKERS/ REDLANDS CAL.” At the rear, below a skylight, a group of four hatted men are sat around a mound of fruit. Circling the chutes, women sit behind empty crates waiting to be filled. To the left, posing in front of stacked crates a mustachioed man wearing an apron stands, hat in hand, for the camera.
