The small rectangle is made of unbleached cotton. It has a thin red line near the perimeter. The upper facing left corner has a kneeling woman working at a backstrap loom. The loom has purple strings and extends to the center of the placemat. The seated figure has black hair, mostly covered with a red cloth. She wears a red short-sleeved shirt with yellow and black detail. She wears a dark blue knee-length skirt with yellow, red, and green detail on the side.
