Silhouettes of birds (sparrow and scissor-tailed flycatcher) in flight surround a central roundel that incorporates a sixteenth-century woodcut image of nude male figures torturing a supine, bearded man in a doublet and breaches by pouring water into his mouth. This image is superimposed over a faint image of the apse of a gothic church and the entire collage-like composition is arranged over a yellow road map background.
