Woodcut with black frame surrounding figural initial ‘D’ at left, with three narrower crescent shapes in cream and vermillion at right. The initial ‘D’ takes the form of a skull and is printed in black over gold leaf that has been applied atop a thick layer of red bole. Over the crescent shapes, the following note is printed from Talleur to Waller: “Having lot of fun, here’s to twenty-five more letters-possibly more. Yours Truly, Talleur, Sept. 1966.”
