Reverse painting on glass depicting seven children using writing boards and their instructor in the foreground. There is a tree with fruit on the right, and a fence in the midground. Painted in the background are a woman and houses or huts. The colors used are black, white, orange, red, yellow and various shades of brown and green. There is a thin yellow painted border surrounded by a thick brown painted border. The painting is backed with bardboard and they are held together with a border of masking tape. There is a white string threaded through the cardboard so the painting can be hung.
