Abstract, image with concentric areas of intricate pattern; appears to be both vertically and laterally symmetrical, but small details, many of which are added in dry point, disrupt the symmetry. Alternating areas of dark, dense parallel lines and lighter stippling or negative space create a rhythmic effect of receding and advancing planes. The dark form radiating from the center of the image resembles fractal formations.
