This is one of a set of three round boxes with lids. Each was built with a strip of bark as the box sides, stitched to another piece for the base, with a wooden splint at the rim, tacked in four places. The lids are constructed the same way.

The small box (2007.2163.03.a) and lid (2007.2163.03.b) both appear to be undecorated, though this box, like parts 2.a and 2.b is darker than the largest box.
