Horizontal landscape and festival scene, with a cluster of houses in right foreground and large tree at center foreground. A number of small figures gather in the space between house and tree, each of them occupied in various states of leisure, eating or drinking. In the middle ground, a distant city scene with many visible church spires. In the background, the suggestion of wispy clouds is made by a series of closely engraved horizontal lines.
