Image of the cover of a paperback book. The title and author are rendered in black on the cover illustration. The illustration is a photographic image of a male figure. The figure is standing and is shown in full. The figure is dressed in bulky clothing, holds a ski pole on one hand and holds his other hand above his eyes. There are mountain-like forms in the background of the illustration. There is a translucent blue, amorphous shape beneath the work “SCOTT”. The shape, which is part of the print, reads as a stain, perhaps a paint stain. The cover has been made to appear worn; the left edge of the image has been made to appear as though the cover was torn off the book itself.
