Image of the front and back cover of a hardback book, rendered so that the book appears to have been opened and laid flat against the picture plane. Title, author and other text rendered in gold on a dark red background. A dark, red cloth cord appears along the left edge of the spine. The cord is knotted near the upper edge of the cover. It is rendered to suggest that it wraps over the top and bottom edge of the cover. The title, author and other text appear on the spine piece of the cover and are repeated again on the front cover. The back cover is blank.
