Side one of the coin depicts a standing woman, identified as Lady Liberty with her left hand raised to her shoulder. Her right hand holds a hammer near an anvil. She is wearing a dress blown back to reveal her body form. Her hair is also blowing. A volcano, identified as Mt. Mayon, is in the background. The text reads: TEN CENTAVOS FILIPINAS.
Side two depicts a shield with a field of stars across the top, and vertical stripes on the bottom. There is an eagle with its wings spread above. The text reads: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA 1907.
