Life-size, bronze seated Buddha. The golden fruit of a medicinal plant rests between the thumb and first two fingers of the right hand. The left hand is in a meditative pose. On the sole of the right foot appears an eight-spoke wheel (identified as the Buddhist doctrine). In the center of the forehead is a circular protrusion (identified as a third eye). The hair is arranged in small, snail-shell curls. The ears are pierced and the lobes are stretched. The figure is wearing a robe which has a "U" shaped opening that reveals a bare chest .
