The human-like mask has prominent orange eyebrows with vertical ridges, and two orange horns in the center of the forehead. The bulging gold eyes have small cutouts for the wearer. The bulbous nose has open nostrils. It has black skin. The grimacing mouth with orange lips reveals black teeth and gold canines.

The inside of the mask is lined with cheesecloth and has a strip of paper with Japanese script adhered inside. There is a string stretched across the top for hanging.
