Two-pieceits top and bottom halves are joined together by a blue cord carved wooden mask is painted in a red lacquer. Its facial featuresprotruding brow ridge, forehead, curled upper lip, nose, and flared nostrilsseem too large for its face. Veins bulge at its temples. Silvery strands of horsehair spring from its chin.

This mask is used in the Genkyōraku Dance (, Return to Capital Dance).
