"Minimal Additions," Jul-2014, Kate Meyer
“There are many elements involved in a work of art. The most important are the most obvious.” -Sol LeWitt, “Sentences on Conceptual Art,” 1969
LeWitt’s later work includes a full array of printmaking techniques beyond the line-based etchings and lithographs of the 1970s. His work in woodcut affords the opportunity to explore the permutations of a system based of bands of a broad spectrum of colors.
