The Buddha is seated on a pedestal base carved with lotus petals, with left hand resting on the left leg, wearing layered robes. The robes covers the left shoulders of the Buddha and flows over the left foot and fall around the body and over the edges of the upper platform carved in back with further lotus petals. The sculpture has some traces of dark green, red and black pigment. The head and right arm are missing.
