The work shows three humanoid figures in profile. The figures are in various stages of sprouting from the ground. The figure on the left is just a head, the figure in the center has grown up to its waist, and the figure on the right has grown to the point of having its proper right leg free from the ground. The figure in the center is holding a watering can and watering the figure on the left’s head.
